Each member will be issued an itemized list of certain personal and group equipment which he/she must procure and maintain. This equipment is necessary to the performance of his/her duties, personal sustenance and hygiene; and shall be maintained packed and ready for deployment at all times. A 20 minute or shorter departure capability is strongly recommended. Each member shall bring with them enough food rations and water to sustain them during training exercises, First New Jersey Regiment local group functions and deployments.

Training:

All active members will be expected to pass Level One line qualifications. Special Operations Group and Support personnel will train in their assigned area of responsibility.

Monthly Training and Meetings:

Training and meetings are necessary and will be called to achieve the overall goals of the America’s Volunteers State and Local Groups. Regular monthly training and meetings will be conducted each month. Members must discipline themselves to schedule and set aside time each month for training, such as, Urban and Wilderness Survival Training, Disaster Response and Relief Training, Medical Operations Training, Defense Tactics Training, and more. Therefore, members who miss 3 consecutive

meetings or training sessions without a reasonable excuse will be dropped from membership. Members will be notified of dates, times, and locations of all training and meetings.

While it is intended that America’s Volunteers intrude as little as possible in the lives of its members, individual members are volunteers who must be ready to meet periodically and to deploy as the need arises. It will be the objective of the Leadership Staff to infringe as little as possible on the time of its members, recognizing the responsibilities of family and employment.

Application Process:

Once you have completed and submitted the membership application, an evaluation panel will render an approval or denial and you will be contacted. Upon approval of your application, you will be invited to attend one of our State training weekends.

Note: All applicants must have an NCIC check done to verify that they do not have a felony record, this can be done at your local Sheriff's Office, once this is done the NCIC check must be submitted to our Administrative Branch Director/OIC and will be kept with your personnel file

Note: If you hold a valid current CCP (Concealed Carry Permit) you do not need to have an NCIC background check done, a copy of your current CCP must be submitted to our Administrative Branch Staff.

This is to protect you as an individual, as well as, our organization and members since convicted felons are not permitted to own or be around firearms.

Shadow Membership:

Some may want to join, but are afraid of losing jobs due to membership in a Patriot organization. We understand and have created a shadow membership program, where no records of a Shadow member will be kept and the only way they will be known is by their Call Sign. For more information on the Shadow Membership Program.

Convicted felons, racists, socialists, anarchists, & provocateurs are not welcome. If you fit any of these categories, save your energy and our time and do not apply. America’s Volunteers will NOT allow itself to be used as a platform for other agendas. Anyone applying for this reason will be dropped for misrepresentation.

By submitting this application you are affirming that everything submitted is true and accurate and you have not misrepresented yourself in any way.
